Role

The Trade Analyst is responsible for supporting trade sales and distribution activities at NPC. This position supports the business at a tactical and operational level and collaborates externally with direct trading partners and internally with departments such as Order to Cash, Finance, Supply Chain, and Market Access.

Responsibilities
  • Primary point of contact for all operations related to direct trading partners and responsible for all order to invoice functions including but not limited to the processes from order management to invoicing.
  • Monitor SAP to ensure orders and credits across all product portfolios are processed in compliance with DEA regulations and SOX key controls.
  • Identify, escalate, and resolve issues impacting orders, shipping, and delivery of products. Work closely with Trade Account Directors on escalations.
  • Resolve account inquiries and requests while capturing and entering data into a tracking system to gather and report on performance metrics.
  • Compile and analyze reconciliation reports for expired, technical return, price adjustment, and unused dose credits within defined financial controls.
  • Administer various programs in compliance with general services agreements and task orders.
  • Analyze direct trading partner data to identify trends and anticipate problems; generate and deliver standard reports and provide input for future reports and data to support senior leaders.
  • Adhere to and assist in the authoring of applicable Working Practice Documents (WPDs), Work Instructions (WIs), and Compliance Guidelines.
  • Support sales and distribution activities for the Novartis product portfolio including Radioligand Therapy, Gene Therapy, Cell and Gene Therapy, and Innovative Medicine.
Essential Requirements
  • Bachelors degree
  • 1+ years of progressive business experience in pharmaceutical industry, sales & distribution and/or customer support
  • 2+ years of analytical experience
  • Ability to manage tasks and consistently meet deadlines
  • Effective interpersonal and time management skills with ability to collaborate across departments
  • Detail-oriented problem solver who can make clear-headed decisions under pressure
  • Ability to synthesize actionable insights from multiple data sources with advanced analytical skills
  • Ability and desire to work both independently and within a team
  • Advanced PowerPoint and Excel, telephony, and system navigation related to product ordering and case management (preferred)
Desirable Requirements
  • Degree subject area in business or related field preferred
  • Strong working knowledge of SAP, Sales and Distribution module is a plus
Location and Compensation

Location: Hybrid East Hanover, NJ

Pay Rate: $40.52 - $53.15/hr based on experience and qualifications (W2 Only)

Contract: 6-month
