You’ll own the scheduling process, manage materials, and collaborate across departments to ensure we meet demand efficiently and on time. What You’ll Do * Build and manage the Master Production Schedule (MPS) to meet customer demand. * Release and adjust production work orders based on material availability and shifting priorities. * Coordinate raw materials and inventory for both make-to-stock and make-to-order products. * Analyze production data using Excel (pivot tables, formulas, what-if models). * Maintain ERP accuracy (BOMs, routings, inventory levels). * Collaborate daily with Procurement, Operations, QA, Sales, R&D, and Logistics. * Support process improvements, lean initiatives, and better planning tools. Must-Haves * 5+ years of production planning/scheduling in food or regulated manufacturing. * Advanced Excel skills; Power Query, VBA, or SQL a plus. * Experience with ERP systems (especially in growing or limited-capability environments). * Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, modeling) and hands-on experience with ERP systems. * Ability to create, manage, and adjust production schedules in alignment with demand, materials, and capacity. * Solid understanding of MRP, MPS, BOMs, and inventory control techniques (e.g., Min/Max, ROP). * Familiarity with JIT, Kanban, and hybrid inventory systems. * Comfortable working in both office and production floor settings. * Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or related field (preferred). * APICS CPIM or similar certification preferred.
