Solar Installer
Location: Waynesboro, VA (150-mile service area)
Job Type: Full-Time
Compensation: Based on experience + benefits
Absolute Energy is a fast-growing solar and electrical contractor based in Waynesboro, VA. We specialize in residential and commercial solar installations, battery backup systems, EV chargers, and service upgrades. We’re looking for motivated and detail-oriented Solar Installers to join our field team and help deliver high-quality, clean energy solutions across our region.
What You’ll Do:
Install rooftop and ground-mount solar PV systems (residential and commercial)
Assemble racking, mount solar panels, and wire components
Assist with battery system and EV charger installations
Work safely on roofs, ladders, and in outdoor conditions
Ensure installations are neat, code-compliant, and pass inspection
Load/unload equipment and maintain clean job sites
What We’re Looking For:
Experience in solar installation preferred, but we’re willing to train the right candidate
Comfortable working at heights and with hand/power tools
Basic knowledge of electrical systems a plus
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Team player with a strong work ethic and attention to detail
Willingness to travel within a 150-mile radius of Waynesboro
