As a Security Professional - Armed Patrol Government Site - Part Time in Parkton, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more .

As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment at a government location. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols throughout the premises, remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any situations that arise. This is an armed and driving post, requiring you to carry a firearm and operate a vehicle as part of your daily duties. You will interact with staff and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication while upholding the highest standards of professionalism. Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeTue05:45 PM - 06:00 AMSat05:45 AM - 06:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the assigned location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor for unusual or suspicious activity and report findings according to site procedures.
• Interact professionally with visitors, staff, and/or contractors while maintaining a visible presence.
• Assist with access control and verify identification as required by site policies.
• Document incidents and daily activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 1 year of experience in armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military roles.
• Must possess a valid armed guard card or license as required by applicable laws and regulations. Preference will be given to candidates who already possess an armed guard card or license.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required for positions that involve driving and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
