Business Intelligence Analyst (Entry Level - Open to Recent College Grads)

About the Opportunity

We're a fast-growing, private equity-backed commercial services company using data to transform how business gets done. Based in Rockville, MD, we're looking for curious, motivated individuals ready to grow their careers in data analytics. This role is ideal for recent graduates as well as professionals with 2–4 years of experience in business intelligence or analytics roles.

This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in data analytics, business intelligence, and AI. You'll work alongside experienced analysts and business leaders, receive mentorship, and grow your technical and business skills in a collaborative environment. If you already have some experience, you'll be able to take on more complex projects and help shape our data strategy.

Compensation

• Salary - is negotiable depending on candidate's background and experience. Will be discussed during the interview.

Job Duties

• Build dashboards and reports using PowerBI and other BI tools
• Analyze data using SQL to uncover trends and support decision-making
• Automate reporting and data workflows to improve efficiency
• Collaborate with teams across the company to solve real business problems
• Integrate data from different systems using APIs
• Explore AI tools and machine learning models to enhance analytics

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
• A degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Familiarity with SQL and a desire to learn more
• Interest in BI tools like PowerBI or Tableau
• Curiosity about AI, automation, and how data drives business
• 2–4 years of experience in a business intelligence or analytics role is a plus, but not required

• Experience with Python, R, JavaScript, Java, C#, or Scala for data analysis or automation
• Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
• Familiarity with CRM or ERP systems
